AS you guys can tell, i am a total newbie......believe it or not i still have not bought a ds lite because i need confirmation on how to flash it through the cheapest way (cheapest as in avoiding 'm3 perfect'.)

Is there a thread already....or am i the first one to ask about the cheapest method?

So what i need to know is a list of requirements (hardware and software), and if possible a place you guys may know from where i can purchase.

PS: Sorry if this is some kind of spam.....but i looked everywhere in the forum and could not seem to find  what i am looking for.

so i bought a SuperCard Mini-SD & SuperKey Bundle (http://www.gamersection.ca/product_info.php?cPath=30_35&products_id=260) and now believe that it is possible to flash it. Can anyone give me advice? Its the first time im doing this and would really like some words.

Do i somehow get both pins pressed down? Someone help, look at the pic below to see what i mean. The left or the right? Please help, like they say, "once you help them, they will help you". Im just a newbie in training....for the time being

Stick something in between the two pins. This will bridge them together and "short" your SL-1. Use a mirrior to see if your flashing tool is shorting the SL-1.. don't try to move around while flashing or you may lose contact and hit the screw next to the SL-1.

I'm still waiting to get my ds lite & SC+SK .. have fun!

if you already have a mini sd card, supercard mini sd & a superkey

I dont know why, but is it true that i need a 'passme2' because many people are mentioning it...

But where does the superkey connect to? Does it go into my supercard? Or the DS game slot? That is my final question before actually flashing it....so please please help MANY MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE!
