I just bought a supercard mini sd from socket on here. I put in my ebay bought mini sd (1gb) and it got stuck and its not getting read on my ds lite. On my supercard mini sd I bought from realhotstuff, the mini sd from ebay just works flawlessly. I opened up the one I got from socket and the one I got from realhotstuff. I saw that the one I got from socket looked completly diferent from the one I received from RHS (looked different not fake).

Are the ebayed minisd's bigger than normal minisd's? THis is because im thinking that the sc mini got upgraded to fit larger mini sd's and I have the old unaltered one,.


-Edit differences are
RHS
-Darker colored green for the data board thingy
-The data things on the bottom are yellow compared to the ones of socket's white ones.

I already said its different but not fake. THe motherboard thing is just a lighter color and the card reading thing (the little tabs on the bottom) are white instead of yellow.

ooh, iono then but i do know that minisds are supposed to be one size. if your ebay on is in a retarded shape maybe its because its from ebay..

i just looked at mine and the pins are yellow. look on the picture above where it says "enter here" next to it are 6 yellow contacts. do you have those?

Yes Just the pins are white and the board is a lighter green im thinking thats its an older version? Maybe my ebay one might be just a tight fit for the older ones, but work better ont he older ones. Socket said b4 he shipped it he tested it out and it worked. Ill just waite and see when i get my sandisk from DeVs.

It works as in turning on, but when it turns on, it has the sc logo on bottom and it says the cannot find sd error.

I also got mine from RHS.  I really dont know what's up with it.  And it honestly worked great for me.

you should try a nonebay memory card just to be sure.

Hey socket what kind of mini sd did you use? Im just thinking that that theres nothing wrong witht he mini sd but just my mini sd is tad a little too large (like .2 mm)

Color is lighter and the pins are white
