I need some questions answered about SC-lite

I have a DS lite, a max media launcher, a SC-lite and a kingston 512 microSD-card.

The memory works fine and I can write stuff on it via USB. Also, I have reason to assume that MML and the SC-lite work because I downloaded DSLinux from www.dslinux.org (the sc-lite version) and it runs without problems.

I am a little confused about the SC-lite because there is very little (if none) documentation even on the official website. I know that MML is a loader that lets me run code from the GBA port in DS mode (and it works, because DSLinux is a DS application). There was a software of some sort for SC-lite on the supercard.ca website but again, it has no documentation on whatever it's supposed to do. I'm guessing it might include an upgrade?

1. If there is an upgrade for SC-lite, what does it do, is it wise to install and how do I install it? (I also don't want the software to modify my DS in anyway)
2. Is there some site (beside these forums) that I can go for Supercard lite information in English?
3. I'm interested in running some emulators on the DS, for example NES, C64 and such. I downloaded one NES emulator for test but it was very confusing with too little documentation. I managed to make a .nds file and copied it on and tried to run it but it gave a white screen. I would appreciate it if someone shed a little light on this issue as well.
4. Related to the previous question, is it possible that not all DS homebrew applications run if I use the SC-lite? If so, is there a list of (so far) compatible programs that I can run? (besides DSLinux)

I have some further questions but let's start off slow and get these ones answered first. Thanks for help in advance.

hm.. i thought that with the MML the sleep feature in many games arent supported...

1) eh, for the upgrade, i believe the latest is 1.63, so yes, if your not in 1.63 already, go update. Download the file from the download section of this site and put it on the supercard lite. when you turn it on, it'll ask if you want to update, say yes, and it will do so.

3) is this NesDS you are referring to? Just rename the NesDS.bin to NesDS.nds and put the other files in it with the roms. You should be able to execute it on the nds and load the rom.

4) well. moonshell works. most other homebrew will work. dsorganize works, but cant save yet. and. the rest i dont know.

Thanks for the help so far. I downloaded the software package from supercard.cn and there was UPGRADE.scu file, so I put it on the SC-lite and launched up and it asked if I wanted to update from v 1.63 to 1.63, I said no because it was already the same version. I guess I don't need an upgrade.

Also, I downloaded nesDS, renamed the .bin to .nds and copied the ARM binaries that come with it on the card. I started it up and yay, no more white screens. The readme that came with nesDS was very crude and had some misleading information. On with the questions tho...

1. Is there a working SNES emulator for my SC-lite? If so, how do I install it?
2. Can someone explain what the patching utility that came with the software package (the one with the upgrade), does? Do I need to use it to make some homebrew work with SC-lite, or is it just bullcrap?
