can you use a very small slotted screw driver as a tri wing like this

I've heard of people doing this. I wouldn't recommend it because if you strip the DS screws you are . . . well . . . screwed.  Just order a tri-wing on eBay or something, should only take a couple of days.

i dont care if i stip the screws because im gonnna get a ds lit for christmas and I thought i should mod my nds by making it one screen thus making it more portable

hi, this will not work, unless there still is a connection to the top screen, if the ds doesnt find a screen it will powerdown straight away, sorry mate, its really not likely to work :S
