I've had a few GBA ROMs that cause a strange error when I try to edit their patching properties in the CF patcher.  But they still patch fine and work.

When I load the gba rom into Cf patcher the column under patch says fail.

ITs doing it to all roms (one I have previously had working)

suggestions?

sometimes all it does it give one .sav file and thats it.. ie no patched file

Devil_Spawn

fail doesnt mean cant patch, fail means doesnt need to be patched or never saved in the first place if i rememer rightly
EDIT: forgot, it also means the next post down

meangreenie

have you got save patcher turned on ?
Yes I'm mad

venom

edit,

all fine now,

was misreading loading time

just takes a little longer, I guess its because new ds games all do that to me.. ie the loader goes over the alotted kb and continues... anone know how to fix this?

venom

hrm the save patch is turned on however the rom wont save game files..

ie save points in castlevania dont record so the next time i play its as if no data existed.

To get to the save screen on the SC you have to press L+R+Select+A all at once(which on a DS is a dexterity test in itself), then it will ask you if you want to save. Note that you don't need to do this to load. Only to save.

venom

cheers ...but

is there a way to get the in rom save to work?

Perseid

That IS how you get the in-ROM save to work. Realtime save is L+R+Select+B
