What happened to my SCLite

I bought a 2nd-hand DS lite with a Superkey and SCLite. It was on firmware 1.62 and came with a few working DS roms. However, it didn't work with Clubhouse Games so I tried flashing to 1.63. I don't know what happened (I might have tried flashing with the SCSD firmware) but now it white screens on all the roms.  What's up?

It still works with original DS games and it loads up to the menu screen alright. When I do the diagnostic test, it tells me that the sram, flash etc are fine. Firmware is still listed at 1.62.

You need to make sure you have the same software and firmware updated. If you are still on an old firmware you can't use the new software to patch games or problems arise. Update everything with the CORRECT VERSIONS and get the newst patcher and you'll be fine.

I'm having trouble patching to 1.63. When I copy upgrade.scu onto the minisd card, boot up and try to flash,  I get a "Data Verify Error".
I get the feeling I somehow bricked my SCLite...
