Is there a mod to extend the WiFi capabilities/range? The DS has a real hard time picking up a signal from the next room but the other WiFi devices in the house function exceptionally well from the 2nd floor. I'm not just talking about laptops with cards, but I also have a PocketPC which functions 10x better and it has WiFi built in.

I'm asking if there is, possibly, a mod to extend WiFi range and connectivity?

I would also like to know how to do this.  what makes the connection stronger?  is it more power?  is it the longer wire inside?  is it the chip inside?  I some times loose connection in the middle of game play and i lag sometime.

i think it depends on the signal of your wireless network card

Hmm.. so it sounds like no one really has an idea? Sounds like this might be a "project".

Some of my friends made the mistake of spending lots of money on a long-range wireless router, but they forgot that there's not really much point because the DS can't transmit back to the router from long distances.
