I've been having a lot of trouble with the GB/GBC emulator that's built in to the Supercard SD(Goomba).  Can anyone help me?  I'll post exactly what I'm doing.

I'm trying to play Pokemon Silver, and the game works, but the saving doesn't seem to work.  I've tried a few things, such as creating a .sav file with the same name, using Savestate on the L+R menu (nothing seems to happen).

I checked on a post that said to first save in the game, then press L+R, select Savestate, press B, then press L+R+A+Sel, but when I press the L+R+A+Sel nothing happens.

I'm using the newest version of Supercard Firmware.

What am I doing wrong?  Is it the perticular game I'm using?  Please help, and thanks

I had problems too. If you are not using the latest firmware, try saving by QPC.

First, save in game. Switch off the console and switch it back on as fast as possible. Hit right on the D-pad once and locate your .sav file of your Rom.
Next, select that .sav file and click A. The SC will ask if you wish to save into SD or something. Hit 'yes' and you've basically done a QPC save.

Hi

Here is how to save.

step 1. Save like you would normally

step 2. Press L+R

step 3. Press L+R+start+select

step 4. go to saver

step 5. hightlight the .sav file that matches your game.

step 6. press A

step 7. There is no step seven, the game has been saved

step 8. Or... atleast it should save. But for all I know, the sun will fall out of the sky.

step 9. Should I stop now? I think I should. Goodbye.

I've tried those, too, but they didn't seem to work.  I'll try them again later today, just in case.  Is it just the game that I'm using?  I read something somewhere that most Pokemon games are different somehow.  Not sure exactly how, though.

I just tested the second method, and it appears to work, so thanks =]].

Just one more question.  Will I have to do this EVERY time after saving on the game?  It's not like it will affect much, I just would like to know for future reference to save time.

Yeah, you'll have to do it every time.
