Off of boredom, I did a search on ebay for Nintendo DS Lite batteries and low and behold they have 1600 mAh batteries! (the stock ones are 1000 and 850 for the original)

Immediately after seeing that, I went online to Play-Asia.com and search for the battery... wasn't there... tried other sites. Not there... now is this a rip off product or is it legit? Can anybody confirm?

What was the shipping method?
If it's UPS, Fedex, or DHL then you can refuse the package and contact the seller for a refund (no shipping cost, etc)

Bah, I got one of those as well for about $10 including shipping. It's utter crap. It lasts for about an hour here and it will only charge for about 10 minutes. Ah well, at least I've got a nice little screwdriver for opening my battery cover... :roll:

Man these aftermarket batteries are really unpredictable. I wanted one that has longer battery life but I kinda don't want one thats getting shipped from China lol.

I'd be SO happy if there was a higher capacity, reliable Lite battery available.  If they bumped it up to 2,000 mah, which should be possible, can you imagine 20 hours of battery life??

They're 1200 mAh, a 20% boost, but hey it's better than nothing.
This manufacturer makes quite a few other products as well.

Yea i would like to know if the dragon ones are any good?  I need a DS lite battery and I will either get one of thoses or just get a nintendo brand one

If you click on the link to the Max Console forums I provided in my first post. You will find a post about a battery that sticks out of the original DS by 1/2 an inch.

I don't see any at gamestop's website though  :?
