220V instead of 110V?

If you look here,

you can see that the black ds is 220V, twice the normal amount!  Does this mean it has twice the battery life?

In the UK our plug sockets use 220-240 V, that's all

I think that stands for Voltage. Not the amount of charge it may store, but the measurement of electricity it uses.
Either way, every DSL has the same battery. More than the DS Phat, though.
