I bought my ds lite during when the first batch came out around novemeber/october or so. When I took out the box I noticed a slight hinge crack on the left (from the back) but I thought it wasn't a big deal. Now its Feb. and the whole damn thing just snapped when my sister was playing with it. I googled it and it said that nintendo was going to repair these for free. This is where my problem comes along.

Nintendo's customer service is a pain in the ass. I called 3 times, 2 times they said "charge 50 bucks", the first guy said get your serial number but I misplaced my ds lite then so I couldn't get back to him....

Should I call up them again and argue with them????

sonicwind

just directly go through the repair through the site.  Its completly no hassle and pretty much no questions asked.  Thats what i did and its been fast and smooth.

PharaohsVizier

Call them back and yell at them...  It should be FREE.

I just went on and did the factory warantee and I got a code , wtf ever. Im also going to fuc* them up on the phone incase I dont get my damn ds back and if they charge me 50 bucks
-Edit Called them, used my gay tone voice and it worked......

hahaha.. what's your "gay tone voice"?

that sounds hilarious

Hi

Argue and persist. Don't yell, but argue. It usually gets you what you want

Gay tone voice - talking how a gay guy does, higher pitch and like how girls talk. Always wins over the guys because like 90% percent of them that work at customer service things are definitely gay.
