BatchDPG Question

How come when i try to conver videos or movies this message comes up that says "Conversion Failed"?

When using BatchDPG and DPG Tools I can't convert any .avi files that were originally flash or Youtube videos, it gives me an error saying could not determine framerate or something. Any way to convert those? (without having to install a bunch of stuff)

Yup I cant convert .avi files either. Any solution?

Have you got all the relevant codecs installed

I don't really know much about this, but I've had the same problems and installing lots of open-source software worked. Google "K-lite codec pack" first and install that, if it's still not working install FFDshow. I'm not sure if it's the best choice, but it certainly worked for me.
