New Update

There's a new update out... I'm in the middle of downloading (damn you entouch... someday you will pay. Hey... if I were to get a WiFi dongle do you think it would output a better signal? I know my router's not the problem. The ISP is screwey and my signal sucks)

From what I've read it has a voting channel in Wii Ware where you can answer polls and stuff... not very handy but whatever. I've also heard that it's blocking modchips. I dunno if that's true, and it hasn't been proven or anything, but I've heard that people are reporting it. Well I dunno. If anyone with a modchip is feeling bold today you can go ahead and try.

i would be surprised.. I mean, the current modchips only modify the DVD Drive, and don't affect the system BIOS.

Unless Nintendo planned it to begin with and put some weird coding ON the DVD drive so it can be updated.... I would also be surprised but you never know with video game companies.

I'm wondering too. scanned the "usual places" and didn't find that rumor... what i did find was sad though (that cyclowiz may not play all games..)

no. @#$%! they say that there has been a delay at the factory..

I don't trust 'em anymore.. i'm not holding my breath for its arrival any more. I'm gonna try to not even think about the chip, and when it arrives, it arrives.

just some small time vendors promising what they don't have... that's all.

yeah... who is obviously very closely tied to cyclowiz.com (or maybe just another storefront created when their paypal got suspended).. because I posted on cyclowiz.com forums regarding a rude email response from modchipstore.com, and within 15 minutes I had another email from modchipstore.com, and it was VERY polite.. lol :lol:

Someone on some forums in a hole-in-the-wall server said that he heard complaints about it stopping modchips.

I wasn't saying that I believe it, but there's always the 1% possibility. Hell, I'll even stay .5% on the Wii bootloader being real. Just wanted to get it confirmed so I can either drop to my .5 to jump to my 99. XD
