Hmm... to spend the money to get it now or not... Probably not. I never really found OoT as great as everyone makes it out to be. Of course it's fun, but the SNES zelda is still the best, and I'd much prefer to play TP again then OoT.

i'm torn. i'm excited it's out, but I do agree that snes zelda is better, and i'm still about 3/4 through TP (due to xbox 360 and PC gaming distractions)...

and I have the collectors disc which I can play when my cyclowiz arrives (if ever)...

Preach on brother!! I love that game and it was the best GAME period to me until Zelda:TP came out and did the unthinkable, be better then A Link To The Past. A Link To The Past is still the 2nd best game ever imho, loved playing that damn thing and have beaten about 20 times,lol.

It's hard to compare 2D to 3D, though.

it may be hard to compare 2D to 3D, but TP did achieve a polish, sparkle, mood, and "cohesiveness", like Link to the Past had.

I did like minish cap on GBA a lot too! hehe. and windwaker. But i got tired of sailing around for so long, and I also felt so "rushed" by the king of red dragons. He's always telling me not to fool around, that we have importand things to do. I know he's just a character, but I tended to obey him, and missed out on fun exploration.

TP is the first Zelda game to add deep drama and an epic plot feeling. Wind Waker was bad ass too but more "cartoonish" like A Link To The Past. To me WindWaker ranks 3rd in line of Zelda games with Zelda 1 being 4th and OOT being 5th,lol.
