New Firmware (1.52) Software quick load fix

To fix the loading of the roms, you need to re-export the NDS roms with the new software.

After you add the nds rom to the list:
1. right-click on rom ---> properties...
2. set the save features according to your media ( CF/SD)
3. click ok
4. export
5. Enjoy quick loading/and saving to SD/CF card!

I can't read the option because of the black background. What are those options. I downloaded the SD version but it only says CF there too... :?

Try redownloading it then, sounds like you got a messed up copy.

Hey MetroidPrime, do you use the Windows XP Style Color theme Silver? I did too, and that's why you get black backgrounds there.. Extremely weird..

Also be sure to download setupsdV242en.exe and not setupnewV242en.exe. Links are messed up with the flags.

Same problem with black Background as MetroidPrime. Downloaded the file from 2 different locations..

I found out what the black background really depends on. It's the color setting in advanced appearance "Item: Active Title Bar" and change the font color from black to white (if you use Silver of course). It kinda sucks, but you'll learn what the options are.

ok, I don't know what I am not doing right. I am unable to save and load time is the same. I have updated to the sd 1.52 and am using the software 2.42. When I right click on file I don't have the option to saves to sd. When I run the test I do show that I am using the right FW 1.52

Ok I have it now found where to right-click on rom ---> properties

Yup. Romman is da man. This is way better than M3 (at least for the DS, GBA is another matter).

When I reset save to sd I can not load the game at all. I have done this with saves patch and rts on and off. I don't know why none of the games work when I enable the save to sd. I have also did the dsq and nothing but white screen, any ideas

Ok if I place a ds game in the slot all works well, oops :lol:

what do you mean by re-export ? whe need to patch the rom 2 times ?
because it doesnt load very fast for me when i patch it normally

As I see them, the options are: (I use SD version)
Saver Patch
- DS Card
- CF Card (greyed out)
- SD Card
ROM position patch
- SuperCard
- CF Card (greyed out)
- SD Card
- DS Card (greyed out)

Just in case one doesnt wish to muck about with their theme

Whats with the option rom position patch : ds card?
is that like loding the game from a future ds flashcard?
