One quick question, what kind of movie file(avi,wmv,etc...) does the dgptool converter support?

I don't know. Just don't use dpgtools, use batch dpg. It supports way more, I DO know that, I just don't know what more it supports. This is probably of very little help to you, and may be an annoyance to you. I am sorry if it is an annoyance. Thought I'd say...

I dont think that Batch Dpg supports anymore, it just looks nicer.  I like DPG tools better...from what ive converted it supports
Avi.(xvid and divx) wmv mpg & flv  -those are the only ones ive ever tried

DPG Tools seems to work for most format for me, I think it even worked on .ogm? Can't remember. Never did get Batch DPG to work for me at all.

I'm pretty sure the 'official' one (the one on the Moonshell home page) uses mencoder as it's backend.
