Please say we're switching BBS software ... phpBB is nice for free and all, but Vbulletin is such a better, easier to manage and use product.

Yes, we are switching BB software. No, it isn't Vbulletin. I did suggest switching to Vbulletin, after having used it over at monroeworld.com. DeVS and ratx decided on something different.  I don't want to give away too much information and spoil the surprise. It's going to be better than phpBB.

Hey, that's all I ask!  I've seen some impressive other BBS software, so I have no doubt we'll all be pleasantly surprised.

I think this site should stay revolving mainly around the nds, with other systems in the "others" section. Remember, there is a dissadvantage to having a site that is based on a broad topic. When the topic is broad, so are the people, and no offense to people, but my favorate thing about chating on diffren't fourms is that I find diffren't people on each forum with an intrest related to what the fourm is about.

Is it SMF by any chance?  I'm a mod at ZFGC (Zelda Fan Game Central), a board that uses SMF extensively, and I've grown rather fond of the powerful system.

But I agree with Hi, the main focus should still be the DS.  Whether it's Supercard or not, the DS and homebrew devices should remain the focal point.  I go to enough "general gaming" sites during the day like MaxConsole and DCEmu, and I like being able to go to a specialized forum like this where I can talk about stuff I really know a lot about.  Obviously I realize that sticking to the Supercard itself is probably a bit too specialized, but it should still have a fairly large presence.
