Does anyone else agree with us? Anyone? I don't want this place to become just another general gaming form, which is honestly my only vision of it's future.

I agree. I originally joined because I needed info for my Supercard. Thats pretty much the reason most of our members have joined. This forum is better than the OFFICIAL SC forums because we have more people on here willing to help out others.

I don't see a problem adding other sections for other systems and hardware, as long as it doesn't over-shadow the SC and DS aspects. Otherwise you guys would have to rename it to something else  :D

I am with this thought as well.

I first joined gbatemp, then found scdev. I liked this site because it is NOT like gbatemp and others that had tons of frivolous posts about nothing. It had and continous to have solid questions about getting your SC product, and for that matter whichever brand of cart.

I little change is fine and it always takes getting used to. I am sure this won't become a mega mall site (maxconsole, gbatemp). Since i joined, the site has changed to meet with the changes in thought and products. Breaking out other types would be nice as they are all lumped into one section, etc...

To be honest, I will be happy again once the main page sidebar that has the latest posts displayed. I am a lazy helper and since my work has cut our internet use down, i like to see quickly the titles before helping.

I can say this about SCDEV, it is a great site and has helped this DSnoob out tremendously. It is a refreshing place to ask questions without embarrasment and putdowns, even it they are repeated questions. I have enjoyed this site and hope to continue to enjoy it in the future.

On a side note that is aimed at the site admin, the search tool for the current (old site) is not the best, will it be improved when we switch to the new?

I agree with most of what's been posted, but there is the occasional PSP question and whatnot that we are mostly able to answer. So I would be OK with some extra forums or some new shiny features. I don't think it would degrade the place. A good forum is good because of its members, not because of what topics it covers. And we'll all still be here right? :)
