I really don't know whats happening everytime I save on trauma center, when I go to load it, it goes to my old save. I have tried saving then continuing playing before turning off, saving then going on a different game and just cant figure it out. The same happened for pokemon but havent played that much. Any ideas?

I'm using the new 2.0 with SP1

I had a RELATED problem trying to load my .sav I pulled off my game cart. But I managed to figure out HOW to fix it (but I can't explain WHY). You'll need eepinator.nds, though I don't remember where I found it.

So, to begin, have your good .sav on your desktop, and the bad .sav on your flash card; eepinator on the flash card as well. Boot up your SCDS1 and run eepinator.nds to get:

Eepinator

Press start...

At the following menu, select DS Cart --> File to get:

Game ID: SCFirmware
EEPROM Type: 3
EEPROM size: 262144
EEPROM ID: ff, ff
Press start...

Pressing start gives you:

Ready to write to FAT?
Press start...

Press start:

fatInit: 0
ERROR Opening Fat!!
Press start...

This is good. Press start and turn off your DS. Plug your flash card into your computer and overwrite the bad .sav with the good .sav. That should do it. I've been sucessfully saving and loading my progress so far. And if that doesn't work, check if you have both a TRAUMA~1.SAV and a TRAUMA~2.SAV; maybe you're loading from the wrong save. Good luck!

NOTE: If anyone out there wants to figure out exactly what happened, here's some extra info. Again, I stumbled upon this using eepinator to dump my cart save onto my SCDS1. Each time I would overwrite the bad .sav on the flash card, the good would get overwritten when I boot up the game.  I began thinking that my good .sav had gotten corrupted, and ran eepinator again for another dump. With my SCL in slot-2 and my Trauma Center cart in slot-1, I ended up getting the ERROR Opening Fat!! message. Defiant, I selected DS Cart --> File again and it ran just fine. So, it seems when eepinator tries to "open Fat" it kills the problem. Any ideas?
