You can already extract DS game saves with just a slot-1 device.  See my tutorial in the FAQs section on how to use SavSender to do such a thing, or use Rudolph's backup tool wifi version.  Rudolph does have a different version that works on the 3in1 too, so you could use it for that as well if you wish.

How is GBA compatibility? Is there any slow down? Particularly, can anyone tell me how Bit Generations: Dotstream runs?

Also, do you need to patch GBA games before you put them on you microSD in your slot one (Supercard One or R4)?

One more question, how is download play on DS games with this device? Does it work and if so how?

As far as I know, most games (if not all) run at 100% without problems, except of course for those that came with extra hardware like rumble or motion sensing.  You sometimes need to patch GBA games to save to SRAM rather than EEPROM or Flash, but this is an easy process with the GBATA tool.

Download Play on the SCDS should be very good, as there's a patching option you can enable to do so, but I've heard it sometimes interferes with cheats or something like that.

I have a little problem. I have DS1 (SDHC) with the newest OS and bought yesterday 3in1 Expansion Set. I'm writing the game to NOR with GBA Loader and when I'm starting it from SC OS it always starting Tekken for GBA. I don't know what is happening beacuse I didn't even download this rom in the first place. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I would be really gratefull for any help.

I noticed on the EZ Flash forums they've changed the flash chips in the EZ 3 in 1 expansion - and I believe have put a note saying the Flash ID chip has changed so developers will need to update their software for it to work! (Source code has been released)

This should go on a sticky here saying that until Rudolph or Corey update their apps the 3 in 1 won't work with anything but an EZ-5 !!!

Rudolph's updated his app again, it now supports GBA Clean Roms, but I'm having some problems with writing the saves - could be the unaligned read/write problem which was meant to be fixed in the latest firmware or a bug,

perhaps someone else can try, so far I can't get it to load a save on my SCDSOne V1 or V3 (SDHC)

New beta is out and it has an .ini in which you can disable the multisave, this appears to get the save function working again on my SCDSOne  , you can also specify the folder where saves are stored.

Hi i have just got my 3 in 1 pack. But i have some problems 

If i start a patched (ezflash patching tool) ds game. I get 2 white screens 
And if i start the 3in1 exp pack tool v1.9b. I get a error that "3in1 exp.pack not found"
But GBA Exploader v057 works great!

I agree. This tool is fantastic. I use it on the Cyclo and DSLink as well...works great.

After some testing and playing whit the 3in1 expansion pack. I must say the 3in1 is a nice piece of hardware
And GBA Exploader v057 works very good

But i get 1 game not to load, And that is Kingdom Heart. I think that this game to big is (32mb).

And can i turn on the rumble in the SCone menu?

You have to flash that one to the card to run it, not use PSRAM mode. I haven't used it with GBA Exploader but used it with coreys tool, will try later
