Lol, I don't know, it would just be interesting to see. I don't have anything against the R4, but I want to see something that is so good and revolutionary that it even knocks down the R4.

Now my little play is over, M3 and R4 are still made by the same company, M3 just buys them off reboxed. So if any is a clone, its the M3 simply, though i don't think either is a "clone".

I'll take them at their word for now on Download Play, but I am skeptical. All those cards promised 100% yet none was able to deliver.

They should also include the SCOne exclusive feature: built in walkthroughs! XD

If this is significantly more expensive than the R4, they will have no chance at all.

How did I not give it a fair review? I was sent the unit (didn't ask for it) and asked to do a review NOW, BY THE TEAM WHO MADE IT. IF they would have asked me to do a review in a month or two when it is released to public I would have, but they didn't ask me to beta test, they asked me to do a review for game sites. Also their not calling their last or newest software update "beta" at all so where do you get the "beta" stuff from? Don't get mad cause people put down a bad product, would you rather me hype it up, lie and tell everyone it's the greatest cart ever made and everyone should go buy one? Imagine how pissed people would be who actually bought one and then ran into the real problems I outlined in my review.

Add that on top of the fact that in my review I said the unit was not released to the public yet so hopefully by the time it is released the bugs will be worked out.

Again how was that not a fair review? Also didn't you ask for a unit to review also? Why would you ask the team for a unit to review when your review would go against what you were preaching above, it would still be broke and your review would be before the unit was released to the public.

As far as the CycloDS goes I would steer clear from it simply because Maxconsole/Divieneo are the ones behind it and we all know their history hyping up a product just to sell units through Divineo's store.

Actually, the reason they are denying me a review cart is because of how I was planning on waiting till the release date before reviewing it.

So there you have it, right from the developers mouths, they want a review NOW with the software thats out NOW. So why do you claim:

You don't own one, you have never used one, so how do you know what score it "truly deserves"? And im still wondering where you get their software is in beta? It's listed on their site for anyone to download and it says nothing about beta, nor has the team said a word to me about any of it being in beta. Beta testing is done internally, not with reviewers.

Im with Devs 1000%, was he supposed to give it 10/10 because the developers might one day release an update that makes it the best card out?

How is he, or anyone else supposed to know how good the card will be in the future?? His reviews couldn't be any more fair as far as I can tell, openminded and critical...everything you want in a review!

The G6 is CURRENTLY a flawed cart on a few levels, abd these points were raised in the review. When it is better (through an update) I'm fairly sure reviewers will update their reviews to be correct, but until then you can't flaw his review!

This topic is even about the G6, never mind peoples opinions on it, I just felt what was said was inaccurate and unfair.

Now, back on topic, ill wait for a review before I get my hopes up for the CycloDS :lol:

I don't mean to offend you DeVS or your review. Nor did I refer to your review as my point. But I was simply thinking, the scores given to the G6DS Real fluctuates so much between different reviewers that it almost seems like some people are basing this on their love for the G6 line and others base it on the cold hard fact that the G6DS Real isn't too good yet.

I have my own opinions, reading so many reviews and their comments, they all say the same thing, but the scores don't. And yes I see your point DeVS, but I still think that some reviews are really biased, against or for the G6DS Real.

Reviews are subjective by nature. There's no way to get an unbiased review of anything if you use unmeasurable categories like "playability" and "UI design" and such. Unless you can actually measure the performance with numbers, the final score is going to be biased, no matter what. I think DeVS did a good job of explaining both the positive and negative aspects of the product while stating what could be done to make it better.

I agree with dantheman, and DeVS' review is good. The rate doesn't matter, cause if he gave high rate, it's because there was something good on G6. I read the review and like it a lot, cause i could knew that G6 is not working well on Donwload & Play feature, so , I'll wait for the next G6 firmware to correct it. If not corrected, I'll wait for a Cyclo review. But i'm still wondering how much G6 will cost... Cyclo is US$ 55,00 at Divineo...
