Again, I will wait until the cart is released, and I use for myself before i pass judgment. I still have my hopes up for this cart. Along with this new CycloDS.

There's nothing wrong with hoping a cart will actually deliver what it's devs are promising.

Check out the new news, DLDI and a new 3 in 1 expansion cart.  And Danny replied saying that he'll ship out a review cart soon, maybe he wanted to wait for release date since I was so intent on reviewing it on release date.    And also, apparently Team Cyclops will be giving away review carts in a few days, DS Database included.

Both SCDS1 and R4 already have most of the important features mentioned (and more), yet cost less and are already mature products.

CycloDS Evolution Features
* Full NDS download play support, including problem games such as Mario Kart DS
(This would be a nice feature, I'll believe it after I read the review.)
* Save type is automatically detected, no need for a save type database (R4 does it)
* Save directly to MicroSD rather than onboard flash (SCDS1 does it)
* User friendly, easily skinnable interface. Both touch screen and button operation supported (SCDS1/R4 are both skinnable)
* Multi-lingual user interface (SCDS1/R4 both support it)

* "Enhanced Mode" which provides powerful, unique features during game play. Enhanced features are activated through an in-game menu. Enhanced mode features include:
---o Adjust LCD brightness during game play (NDSLite only)
---o SlowMotion mode which can be used to slow down game play to make fast paced action sequences easier to master
---o Return to CycloDS Evolution Menu (aka soft reset)

These are extended cheat features that SCDS1 and R4 already have the ability to support. In-game "slow motion" and "brightness adjustment" are cheat hooks already created by Chishm and others hackers.

In fact SCDS1 has taken the cheat hook concept even further by supporting in-game multitasking to "game guide" and "cheat menu".

I don't understand the excitement.  It seems like another average slot 1 flash solution to me. What would excite me would be something new, like a slot1 with all of today's expected features plus 8GB (gigabyte) of fast onboard flash. SuperGigaCard.

No, I don't have a link to a slowdown cheat hook. I do know a slot 1 card can't change the speed of the DS internal CPU clock.  Slowdown would have to be implemented as delay in ARM7. I can look at Chrishm's brightness cheat source code and see that it would be possible to introduce a simple countdown loop to create a delay when a certain button combination is held down. I can also see how an alternate button combination could be used to toggle the delay loop on and off. Mark my words SCDS1 and R4 will support the same feature.

Well the entire  reason I was looking forward to this was for the slowdown, but on the only game that I really love on the DS slowdown doesn't help It makes it harder to charge MTs, and it actually takes a lot longer
