Dont wanna be called any names here for posting in your wanted thread but .....for information purposes

....I have an Ez flash 3 dev kit and using EZ CLIENT you can dump GBA CARTS and their SAVE games.

So I know you can with do it with EZ FLASH DEV KITS  

Unfortunate im not selling my Dev kit but wanted to let you know what you can use to do it

Im selling my EZ-Flash PowerStar for like 45 bucks.  It was originaly 120... but yeah.   You can dump GBA games with the card reader and also play games on the EZflash.


Its a 1gb Ezflash card.

I wasn't planning on spending more then $40 ideally. I'll have to think about the Powerstar for just a minute while i research any other solution. Do you have the box for it snake?

If it's anything like http://www.linker4u.com/pp/item_detail.asp?itemID={AB02EC20-5BE6-4EE6-9EC9-E225FD3C0BB6} then you might be able to.  I know that you can dump GBA games with the linker that connects directly to the link port on your GBA, as that's what I personally have.  I don't know if the one you linked to uses the same software (in fact I'm almost sure it doesn't), so I don't know if it allows for game dumping.

If you have a regular old GBA lying around, I'd suggest using the USB linker cable I linked to.  If not, I'm not really sure, sorry.

I agree I've got an old XGFLASH2, which with a GBA / SP you can dump the roms via the usb linker to the PC, my older flash2Advance could do this too

I personally would like a stand alone dumper myself. I have an old sp around somewhere i think except i'd rather not have to realy on it to do a rom dump. I sucks they don't have that usb linker for the gba micro  :razz:

Still considering the powerstar though too. That can be done by itself with just the reader right?

still didn't they do another linker for the neo and later xg flash units which took a physical cart to usb ?

It's got some sort of smaller slot that i doubt any flash linker hardware support at all. Maybe i'll wait til friday when i get paid and take that powerstar unit.

Any word yet if that sucker still has a box with it?

Do you have a DS and a slot-1 device?  I know it's not a dedicated dumper, but there is software available that will dump GBA games to a slot-1 device.

why would you need a gba dumper? when every rom is available to download on the internet??

I do have a DS and a M3 Simply, what software are you referring to Dan?

I am 100% aware of downloading roms but I like to try new things personally just so I can say I did it .

Plus I like to collect certain things that interest me.

Both cory1492's program for managing the EZ-V 3in1 expansion pack (can't remember the exact name) and Rudolph's GBA Backup Tool from http://kotei.blog.so-net.ne.jp/2007-12-24 can dump GBA games to a slot-1 card.

Nevermind, I tried translating it and it says it's having a system maintainence! Figures the day I want to try it out I can't...
