Is there a special command or is it supposed open when you start the game.

I've enabled the cheats (by pressing L+X) but nothing is happening.

I've tried pressing L+R+START+UP but that doesn't work

Dudu.exe

you need the supercard cheat file for your game ( .scc )

if you do have the game cheat file, sometimes it takes more then one try to open it as well, it also helps if there is no menu(in game menu) open or n e thing and that your are in game(playing..the actual game, character moving around)...for some reason for me, when the menu of a game is open, and I move teh arrow pad, that distorts it from opening....so ya, keep on trying cause its somtimes hard to open as well
hmm, eversince i got the ds one it seems that i dont ever finish a game..b4 when i actually bought games i always finished them...makes you think

Silly question but do you have to patch roms on the ds-one to enable cheats?

I can't get it to open at all, I have tried dozens of roms, even went so far as renaming the cheat files and moving them to the root directory of the mini-sd card.

You sure you're talking about the Supercard DS then?  The SCDS takes microSD cards, not miniSD, and the slot-2 Supercards like the Supercard miniSD don't have cheating support (yet).

Dudu.exe

some games has problems to load, i dont know why.. in this games try use the hotkey on a blank screen.. link the one before a stage in New Super Mario Bros

oops, to many drinks, it's a ds.   I just get miniSD/microSD mixed after a few.
