I love what was done in V3. I'm almost done with a stage I've been working on in my free time since V2 came out.

Wow! That screen shot looks awesome. Thanks for posting this. I've been playing the hell out of the last version.

EDIT:

This is freakin awesome. The last version looked pretty good, but this new release, totally blows it away. It looks very, very, professional now. The tracks were a little hard to see for me on the last one, but everything is much bigger and clearer.

Everyone should have this game on their cart.

awesome, have you tried my stage yet? (its in a secret bonus area) get lots of stars (mostly in insane) to unlock it

I just wanted to try it, so I cheated a little to do so =p. Good job on it!

I've been crackin' out on this all weekend long. Now that I've spent some serious time with it, I can't believe how great of a release this is. It's such a step up from the last version. I thought just a couple more tracks were going to be added, and nothing else. But a ton of stuff has been added.

Definitely the best homebrew game I've played so far.

Let us know when your stage is done.

And how did you cheat on it to unlock the stage? I'm not sure if I'm going to do it or not, but I'm curious.

EDIT: Here's a couple questions I have about this game. I think this bug was present in V2 also. But when you pause the game, and hit continue, it starts the stage over again. Does this happen to anyone else?

And, when you use freestyle, it resets your combo meter. Why is this? This doesn't happen in the actual game. I wonder if this is stuff that he knows about, and is working on for the next version.

This is probably stuff I should be asking the dev himself. These are just a couple of small things, it's still an excellent game. But any info will be appreciated.

I think the Start button doesn't just pause the game, it ends it, giving you your final score.  This is probably by design.

Freestyle adds 50 to my count, whatever it is, whenever I use it, so I'm not sure why it isn't working for you.

felix

You need to move your ship around using the touch screen for freestyle.

I would like to see:
A proper pause function
Sleep mode
Soft reset.

Hi

Soft reset.

That's the thing I'd like to see in almost all homebrew and see in almost none...

I read the instruction on how to play the game but im still confused. Are you suppose to shoot every little dot? Thats impossible...

Please help! Thank you

Thank you dan and felix. I totally forgot that you have to move it around by touch screen for freestyle to work. That must be why my combo meter was resetting.

And WegeHop, it took me a while to figure it out too. Just start on one track(like maybe the one farthest to the left) and just start hitting every dot, then move to the next track. When you're hitting every dot, the track is highlighted. But if you miss one, then the track like greys out.

I'm sure this didn't help much, it's hard for me to explain it. Try reading the Gamespot review of Amplitude to get a better understanding of the game.
