I'm not really crying you know. I'm just joking.

The thing I'm most upset about isn't about not having flash, it's about Nintendo lieing. I respected Nintendo, and strangely still do even though they lied.

read the artical again the statement that it had flash was retracted/removed .... to me it sounds like its the same OPERA DS BROWSER thats already out there no improvements or nothing

I was convinced we were going to have flash support; Nintendo was going to add a flash decoding chip into the expansion pak and through that support flash.

Where was the source for this "flash decoding chip" info? I believe the main site simply had a miscommunication between Opera and Nintendo, so they reported that Flash would be supported when it really wouldn't. Speculation by us users probably then led to the "flash decoding chip" idea, which I don't remember ever reading from an official site.

I was highly skeptical about the DS's ability to decode flash files from the start given its limited power, so I'm not too disappointed.

It was my Idea actually. I wasn't sure of it until I suggested it on another thread on this site and people approved of it as a possibility. Since I was convinced Nintendo wouldn't lie (sniff) and nobody else had any ideas, I thought that was how they'd do it.

i didn't think a "flash decoding chip" would be feasible in the long term seeing as you'll probably need different runtime engine for newer flash versions.

It doesn't work well, it isn't inside any web browsers, and I can't program...
