I bought myself a Kingston Japan microsd card today but I cant get it to work in my supercard. When I turn it on I get 2 white screens. I noticed on the back of the card theres a black sticker, could this be causing the contacts not to touch?

Vapourstreak

no, my microSD card has a black sticker too.  Even a gold one :D  I think the memory card is defective in come way.  Go exchange it or something

xtrasux

Thats what I thought, but I tried it in my sclite and it works fine :?

It could be a problem with the Supercard then. What happens when you power on and hold L+R?

Note games patched for Supercard Lite will not work with a different model Supercard.

xtrasux

Its not a problem with the supercard, it works fine with my taiwan kingston. I dont even get to the stage where I can play any games, the screens are white when I turn it on.

Vapourstreak

WTF? The SuperCard DS ONE doesn't support the Taiwanese Kingston microSD cards...

xtrasux

I can assure you that it does, I'll try formatting it again

bitblt

I dunno, did you try formatting the memory card again? Try using the Windows command prompt to format with 64KB cluster size.
(something like this, M: is memory card)
format M: /FS:FAT /V:KINGSTON /Q

Still no good, same message when I run the test

bitblt

Weird. Kingston (Japan) should work great.  Try formatting the card with a different computer. It might be a problem with your card reader?

SC DS One works with the Taiwanese Kingston cards, just not great. I had it myself before I got my hands on the SC-DG01 or whatever it's called, the Japanese one.

xtrasux

I tried formatting it in anohter computer, exactly the same problem.
