Problems with my supercard lite

I bought a Supercard Lite + Superkey about 3 months ago and it worked perfectly, played all DS and GBA games I wanted to, saved fine.

However, starting about a month ago, I've started to have problems with it. It has started freezing up randomly in the middle of DS games. Most often in Pokemon Diamond where it can freeze very regularly in a variety of places, but also in other games.

As well as the freezing, my GBA games can no longer be saved. When I save the game in-game and then press L+R+Select+A to save to my mini-SD card, once I confirm the save, the "Saving" message comes up and it freezes at that, the save is never completed. So I can't play my GBA games now.

I use a 2Gb Sandisk Ultra II Micro SD card and have the 1.7 firmware and 2.58 patcher.

This problem is very annoying, and I'm starting to regret buying a supercard instead of the M3 now. Please can you see if you can help me out in trying to diagnose my problems and solve them?

Thanks in advance.

have you tried all the obvious stuff like cleaning the contacts, putting a slip of paper to wedge the mem card tighter ect ?

Yeah, done that now after reading on here, that might solve the freezing problem, but the GBA saving problem is a little more systematic to just be because of a slipping connection.

I'm also having this problem with my SC Lite, and it seems like several other posters have as well.  One person said that tilting his DS unfreezes some games, but I'm not sure how he tilts it...I'll play around a bit.   Anyone else who has any thoughts on this, post them on this thread!

Hi man ! What about update you firmware to version 1.83, format you SD card, and re-convert your roms using the 2.62 patcher ?  :)

perhaps the only thing that keeps me content with the supercard is that the menu loads blazing fast.... :/ the m3 lite is just so slow...

yea i have similar problems with my supercard sd. sometimes the game freezes (gyakuten saiban 3, megaman star force, etc) so i just repatch the game replace the old .dsq file (it works temporarily and eventually it freezes again at another point in the game).  also when i save my gba games, it formats my save file and i have to start all over.

so does anyone have a solution to this?
