some of them automatically download to a folder in MY DOCUMENTS called DIVX MOVIES

They're through a variety of different venues, such as dailymotion, google video, youtube, that new DivX streaming site thing...etc... I've used VideoDownloader on all of those but the divx one, and as mentioned the divx one has a built-in download feature.

i couldnt get video downloader to work with them, it would give me an invalid URL error

Whenever I attempt to play a vid that uses that divx thing, It loads forever and never plays my movie.

I'm using Firefox. I've already installed the plug in, and even tried re-installing the plug-in with no luck. What's going on?
