Hello all,

Well, first the problem...  To test it, I used the original cheats (that comes with)...  I tested for about an hour Castlevania - Portrait of Ruin...  Not even the intro cheat menu showed up (so you'd guess none other did!)...  Just like if it wasn't there at all...  Then, I thought why not try another game!  So, as many had success with New SMB, I try it too; and it worked...  Go figure!

The question I'd like to ask: Have any of you tried Castlevania PoR?  Does it work for you?

To not too that I tried both trim and untrim...  (Even thought New SMB trim work the same but it's a test I've done anyway!).

It worked fine for me.. there seems to be no explanation so maybe a full fat format may help if you haven't already tried

post back if it works as it may help others
Yes I'm mad

Well, good, bad and ugly news...  :)

Let's start by the ugly and bad news...  It seems that my folder "NDS" in my microsd card has some problem with cheats and roms, who knows why?  So, everytime I putted a cheat in NDS, it didn't work...  But, I tried putting a test folder in NDS and New Super Mario worked in it...  Go figure!  Anyway, I just copy/pasted my castlevania from from NDS to ds and it seems to fix it right...  (That's the good news!).

The bad and ugly news?  I don't understand why at all!!!  If you do, please tell me!!!

I think it has a limit of 64 items at a time? so three files for each game if you have 22 would be over that.  Not really sure though, I am a tech n00b :D

FAT file structure has a limit as mentioned above its always best to put the games with their savers in their own folder  eg  GAME1.NDS GAME1.SAV  in a folder called GAME 1  etc  and put the cheat file in there too so it keeps the relevant games and saves and cheats in their own folders ... I find it less messy this way anyhow :)
