Access DSLink with slot 2 card installed?

Well, I updated my SCCF to 1.8 and I updated my DSLink to 2.1.  Now, I can't get to my DSLink with the SCCF installed.  Previously, I held ABXY to get to the SCCF and didn't press anything to get to the DSLink.  Now, I always go to the SCCF by default.  What's changed and what am I doing wrong?

im using a scdsone & ez-flash 4 & mine boots to the ez-flash 4 first (i think cause of flashme)
i just press select to boot to my scdsone

have you tried holding  select, there are 2 versions of flashme on V8 but 7 always booted slot 2 first so I used to hold select to go to the SCDS One

Yes.  This goes to the regular DS setup.  I think I ran some tip I found on this site about doing this and it no longer works.  I'll keep looking.

Now I remember.  It's the header patcher found here:

Updating to 1.8 got rid of the patch.  Anybody try this yet with 1.8?

The header patcher should work with any version, as they all have the same header.
