Moonshell 1.7 says it can play SPC files, I can play them in DS Organize but can anyone help me get them to play through the SC-DSONE OS which I believe is a customised moonshell 1.41 ?

I wonder why the SC team are still using an older version

You can use PocketSPC for creating *.nds compilations with your SPC files in them, but they must be less than 4 MB in size.  Alternatively, SNEmulDS has a built-in "SPC Jukebox" feature you can use to play SPC files while another game is running.
