Hi guys!!

I just bought a black Lite last week, and  I have been reading a lots of cards reviews already...
So far I almost made a decision basis on what I looking for:

a- The best compatibility with NDS and GBA Roms
b- Possibility to play NES, SNES, and Sega emulator.
c- Great ability for DS Opera Browser.
d- Good storage capacity for video and MP3s... (really very good storage).

Well I'm think the G6 DS Real  for Slot 1 and the M3 Lite Adapter for Slot 2 with a Sand Disk micro SD 2 GB, its the way to go...

But here are my questions:
1- Can I get the same features with the same quality with another cheaper combo?? (since G6R+M3+MSD2 cost like 190 $)
2- What I'm missing with this combo??
3- Should I consider a Ebay Sand Disk micro SD for 25 bucks? here link Are there any differences from the one are selling the sponsor ??
4- Have you guys had any bad experience with any of this cards?
5- Which combo do you recommend for the things that I'm looking for??

P.S: Thanks in advance, can't wait any more for get a couple cards!!!. So I hope yours experiences help me this time!!!!

Thanks... :D

Yeah, that's a good combo. Currently I have a G6 DS Real and G6 Lite combo. And it's great. So the combo you're talking will be just as good.

And if you want a cheaper combo, you can get the EZ Flash IV Deluxe for your slot 2. I believe it's cheaper than the M3. And has great GBA compatibility. And you could always go with a 2GB N-Card(which is about $40.) for your slot 1. But...it doesn't have all the functions that the G6 DS Real has. Like Soft Reset, cheats, etc.

But the combo you're talking about, is one of the best you can get.
Setup:

Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

you can find really great deals for sandisk microsd on amazon as long as you order without the bulk packaging

A better combo would be a SCDS for slot 1 and an EZ4lite for slot2.. better and cheaper

theres nothing that can touch the features of an SC-DS at the moment (maybe the cyclo with it's more advanced donload n play, but that story is still playing out)

but note with the SCDS (well any mem card based flash cart) a Japanese made Kingston/Toshiba memory card is strongly reccomended
Yes I'm mad

For a micro sd card mymemory is verry good i.e. for $23 you can get 2 1GB micro sd

I think you have a decent combo, you should buy your microsds from newegg, don't ever buy from amazon, its more expensive less reliable and way slower shipping.  I recommend you not try to use your ds as a multimedia player. Unless you want to be carrying a huge case around with all your cards you need to keep switching from a mp3 player is better suited for your movies and music since no matter what your not going to fill that much with music let alone movies because you will need games as well.
EDIT:if you only need 1 gba game at a time i.e. playing golden sun that takes a long time you can get the EZ5 combo which will have everything becasue you can get some not so good microsds for multimedia and a kingston for games and burn 1 gba game onto the 3 in 1 slot 2 thingy.

maybe i was just lucky. I got like two 1 gig sandisk microsds for over $12. Of course the shipping bumped up the total price to about $24 and something.

Hey thanks for the answers...!!!!..

Happy noob!!! :D
lack empty Lite.

Hi

I reccomend this Combo:

1. SCDSONE
2. M3 SD
3. Fast 2GB Micro-SD card
4. 4GB SD card

This is the combo I have, except with a SCSD instead of an M3 SD. Now, here is why I reccomend the combo...

1. The SCDSONE has lots of features, a relieable team behind it, and isn't to hard to use.

2. The M3 SD plays almost all gba games perfectly. It sticks out a little bit, but not very much, and not nearly enouph to be annoying in my opinion. The M3 SD (obviously) uses normal SD cards, which can hold a lot of storage for not to much $$ ; granted, it will still be expensive.

3. To go with the SCDSONE. It has 2GB of storage.

4. Granted, even a normal-sized SD card will cost a lot of $$ if it's got 4gb of space. But 4gb of space is REALLY NICE to have. I'm really happy to have all the space, it's great. You cannot get a 4gb micro-sd card, they do not exist.

The SCDO is awesome, but it's true what they claim with 100% Clean Rom Support. 100% game compatibility?? has somebody had any problems or any slowdowns with this cards?

2 GB on Slot 1 will be sweet, no matter the crappy menu..

Can a SCDO + M3 combo handle the opera browser?

you don't want the M3sd with a ds lite, it will stick out more or about the amount a gameboy color cartridge would.  I would stay away with scds with a 2GB card right now unless you can get a hold of the Japanese kingston one because they aren't fast enough to run everything at 100%.

I mentioned my main combo before, but i am wondering too of how well i picked my flash cards. I have an m3 lite and m3 simply. How is this as a combo? Now it kinda looks like i shouldve gotten an SCDS ONE as a slot 1 choice for the extra features.

Not trying to hi-jack a thread, but I'm thinking of getting me an SCDS. But I'm still not sure though.. And I guess these extra features are the main selling point to this cart. I mean, I've read some of the reviews, and I guess a couple of the features seem kind of cool, but not all of them...

And I'm trying to ask people that aren't "Supercard fanboys" to get an honest answer. Is this cart any better than any of the others out there? Having to pick the correct size for each game seems a little annoying. And I have a Kingston Japan and Nokia Japan, and these run those problem games on the R4 flawlessly, so they should on the SCDS too. I was thinking it can't be a good idea to get a 2GB microsd for this cart. But I guess the Toshiba 2GB is Japan made.

I'm thinking between this and CycloDS for my next cart. And the CycloDS seems like nothing but hype. Since I"ve never owned a Supercard, I'm kind of leaning towards the SCDS. I know these carts get great support.

i recommend you buy a 2gb microsd japan for your slot 1 and a 1gb japan for your 2 slot solution, here read my earlier topic; http://scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10477. specially since the slot 1 solution are very pick in microsd when it comes to game speed. These cards are even faster than sandisk ultra's.

also, i dont really know the best slot 1 solution but like meangreenie said, the best slot 2 solution is definitely the ez 4 deluxe light, i owned and its amazing.
black Ds lite (flash me V7)
2GB MicroSD japan kingston
Supercard Lite
EZ flash deluxe

Well h8uthemost, I don't think the CycloDS Evolution is a hype, it truly is a great product.  Sure, maybe the excellent support they are giving may not hold off forever, but this cart already beats everything I've seen so far.  It does a lot of little extra things that make this cart easier to use and the support that Team Cyclops have been offering is great, they've fixed everything everyone asked for, they've even implemented the viable suggestions people have made.

My review is still a day or two away from completion, but I can assure you, this cart will receive the highest score I have given so far.
