Can you post the download link please. I tried the G6 Flash "PdaDS" and it locks up the unit (Original DS) :(

h8uthemost

You tried the PDA off of this page? And if so, then I don't know. That's the only PDA that's out for the G6 software right now I believe.

Man...I wish they would get the next firmware out with the DLDI auto patcher. And really hope they fix up that calibration a little bit too. It's not real bad or anything, just a tad off sometimes.
Setup:
White Lite
Slot 1: CycloDSx2GB Kingston Japan, Supercard DSOne+1GB Nokia(J), 16G G6 DS Real, 16G DS-Linker, R4x1GB Kingston(J),
Slot 2: G6 Lite
PSP: 3.40 OE-A

Thats the one I DL (slot 2 section). PharaohsVizier mention 'G6 Lite', I guess it's the same as 'G6 Flash'. I just copied it over. Was I suppose to use some software to copy it over (loader) or am I missing something? Can you test it with your 'G6 DS Real'?

Thanks

What the heck....  I just tried it again, and it freeezes... :(  It worked for me before....

Quote from: "h8uthemost"That's cool. It doesn't really sound like anything big. I was first using the cart in a original DS. But now I've been using it in my Lite, and it is a little snugger fit. But still, not hard to get in and out at all.

And I've wrote a few roms already, and I couldn't believe how quickly they wrote. I've been use to writing to my DS-Linker, and that's kind of slow. But writing them to this G6 DS, they are a lot quicker. I think almost as quick as they write to my R4. Almost.
Hi h8uthemost. I have my XP Card 2GB here, and had many flashcards before. Next one will be G6 REAL. What are your first impressions ? Do you recommend it ? Did you like it ? I know some features are not working yet (auto-DLDI and D&P), but I like flashcards and think this is a promise one, and has everything to beat our N-Cards clones...

Good, makes me feel better! ;) I also tried the M3 PDA on my 'G6 DS Real'  and didn't work either :(

The PDA part was the selling point for me. :( :( No reply from the Mfg yet.

Well just use DSOrganize, it is much better in terms of a PDA function.

Um, doesn't that require DLDI ?
arly to rise and early to bed, makes a man healthy, but socially dead!

Yeah, good luck with that. The G6 team is a bunch of asses when it comes to replying to emails. They make great flash carts, but their customer service skills suck.

Hey metal, I definitely recommend this cart. It's pretty much just like the clones, but with a bunch of features that they don't have.

These clones are my favorite carts, but they're missing some features. Some features that they really should have came with. So...that's why I got the G6 DS Real. I was going to get it anyways though, since I have a G6 Lite, and I love it. So I knew I was going to get their slot 1 when it came out.

But yeah, my first impressions were good. One of the hugest part of this cart that I love, is how fast the roms write to it. You know how slow the roms write to the clones? Well it's nothing like that with this cart. It writes  roms almost as fast as my R4 does. So that's a huge plus.

And then again, there's the features. Soft reset. This is the biggest feature the clones should have came with. I mean come on, every other slot 1 has this feature. Being able to boot your slot 2 directly into either DS or GBA mode is nice too. And you don't even have to boot the G6 DS first, to get into your slot 2. You can just hold B at startup, and the DS will boot directly into DS mode in your slot 2. Or hold Select at startup, and it boots directly into GBA mode. That's pretty neat.

Then being able to have up to four skins on it(I think it's four), and then being able to switch between any of them, at any time, is also nice.

There's other features, but these are some of the ones that really interested me. And once DLDI auto patcher gets released, then the cart will be complete to me. Since I couldn't care less about download play. But also, the touch screens are just a tad buggy. I mean...they're usually dead on, but sometimes, you have to hit whatever selection your making like twice in a row. But I'm sure they'll get it fixed, or much better with the next firmware. And I know they'll get this fixed, since the touch screen calibration is absolutely perfect on the G6 Lite. So they'll get it perfect on the DS Real too.

And you know, it has that fast internal memory. So you know you won't have any problems with any games.

But...I'm still going to use my N-Card clone too. :) I love those carts. I hope this helped with your decision. Oh...and check out PharaohsVizier review. It's really detailed and helpful.

Need DLDI for 'G6 DS Real' which does not exist yet. I tried using other DLDI's with no luck but a dancing cow..... "Trying".

I'm glad they replied. => And yeah, they've responded to a couple of mine, but not all. It's no biggie though.
