Police brutality on skateboarders

I don't know if I should really put all the blame on the cop. The kids did something to piss him off, but what he did do was out of line.

if i were them, i would beaten the s**t out of the cop with my skate board. they are right, they were just skate boarding that doesnt make them criminals, that cops is just some son of a b**** a** hole.

Yeah. The cop said the skateboarder was going to jail for resisting arrest, but he was going to be arrested in the first place because he was doing something TOTALLY legal, skateboarding (Even on Go Skateboarding Day!!!). Stupid cop.

I woulda run away for three reasons.
1.He just choked my friend
2.He is old
3.He is tired already
4.He is fat
5.He has a bad knee(judging from brace)

That's awesome all that got caught on tape. I hope that cop gets fired for the behaviour he displayed. It's not like the kids had guns or any other type of weapons and were threatening him. What a piece of ****.

There's a guy that I went to school with that became cop in my town. He is now suspended for using excessive force. He choked one guy that was in handcuffs, and slammed a girls head against his cop, while she was in hand cuffs. It was all caught on tape too, and can be seen at nwi.com.

So...he's going to lose his job security and his pension because he act like an ass like this cop did. Which I"m glad he's losing his job. We played on the same baseball team as kids, and in highschool, and that ass has arrested me twice.

Not even cool. So since he's losing his job, I hope he loses his house too, and him and his whole family goes hungry.

Not having seen the video... I'm going to say this... don't think the skateboarder was completely innocent. I have to deal with horrible ones every day I'm at work. That's not to say all skateboarders are that way, but the ones that hang around outside of buildings they've been told numerous times to leave, and to stop damaging property, etc. Not to mention, if the idiots hurt themselves WE are liable for their injuries. What kind of justice is that by the way? If you're stupid enough to hurt yourself skateboarding, why should me or my company have to pay just because you were being stupid on our property versus the middle of the street?

Gah I feel like an old man yelling at kids who walked on his grass. That said, a website like "www.skateboarding.com" is going to be pretty biased. And I think you know who's side they are going to be biased to.

I called tehm and the "investigation" is under way. I personally think he should be suspended for a week and that's it.

Yes, this is true. And the camera didn't start recording until after the cop I had the kid on the ground. So who knows how the kid was acting before the recording started.

But still, they way he grabbed that girl, that was just plain wrong. There was no call for that. I hope he gets more than a measly one week suspension(which he'll probably get with pay).
