Supercard SD won't read SD cards

I am having trouble with my SD Supercard. It fails to recognise certain SD cards (Elite & DSE cards). I have three 1G SD cards, different types, formatted to FAT 16. They read fine on my camera and 2 different PC's. When I try them in the Supercard, it says "not find the SD Please turn off GBA" . I have reformatted them using Wndows XP, the Panasonic SD format programme & the camera. Same result, no matter how many times I re-insert the cards

A fourth 2G SD card it can read (which is a fake Sandisk, so it is the one I'd accept if it didn't work...), for some strange reason. The only difference between the cards are that the one that works has contact points sticking out more towards the edge of the card than the others do.

I suspect the Supercard isn't getting proper contact with the sd cards. Is this an issue with the Supercard or can there be another reason for the problem? :-\

Yes, that seems to be a common problem with SCSD and SC miniSD. Sometimes a bit of paper will solve the problem . . .
