Hello!  I'm a guitar teacher and musician.  I like to practice with a metronome to work on my chops, but I don't often have a metronome with me.  But, I do usually have my DS with me  ;)

I've learned a little bit about DS programming, but I don't feel like I'm up to the challenge yet.  Is there anyone that would be willing to program a metronome program for the DS?  It can be simple.  Perhaps L/R adjust beats per minute, and it will just click at the given beats per minute.  Perhaps a flash of red on the screens for every beep?

Would anyone be willing to look into this?  I wish I could set a bounty of something, but I really don't have the money.   However, I do have webspace I could offer to someone who completes this project.

i dont know of a specific DS metronome at the moment, but you could always record a metronome of known bpm and play it as an audio file via DS. Thats prob not helpful, but its a thought. There are also DS sequencers that could act a metronome if synchronized properly.

Here's another idea:

I remember using a drum sequencer quite a while ago, I forgot what it's called, but its filename is tr909 (to reference the device it was emulating).

Using this homebrew, I think you can set one drum at a specifiied BPM, which it will play on loop. In this way, I think it will act as a metronome. But there won't be a flash of red as you hear the beat (just the playline zipping across the beats you've set)

yeah i have tr909. i was using it for a while but it took way to long to clear out all the beats so it's just quarter notes....
