But is still better then a bunch digital butons.. and one analog..  I dont know how to say in english but with my Tendinitis i allways get hurt playing fps on PSP !!!

Well honestly, I don't like playing FPS's on either handheld.

But...I do like the FPS's more on the PSP then I do the DS. It does suck having to look around with triangle, circle, square, and x. And then moving around with the analog nub. But, at least my hands don't feel like they're going to fall off after a couple hours of play time with Syphon Filter. But for everything else, the touch screen controls are fun and precise(Warioware Touched, Trauma Center, Canvas Curse, etc.).

I just don't think handhelds are well suited for fps's, unless they have two analogs.

But, I willl definitely try Call of Duty4 on my DS when it comes out(really going to have fun with it on my 360). Who knows, maybe the devs will do something with the controls that no other fps on the DS has done yet. I really hope they assign the jump action to an actual button, and not to double-tapping the touch screen(there is jump in the CoD's right?, Pretty sure there is).

I can't imagine using a button to jump when you're holding the stylus, maybe resting your hand above the face buttons and pressing them, but that doesn't sounds too comfortable. I think jumping in Metroid Prime works pretty well.

Well, really the big gripe I have with double tapping to jump, is that sometimes you don't double tap, but you still jump. This happens to me all the time in MPH and Bionicle Heroes.

I have no idea how they would get the jump action onto an actual button, and still make it comfortable on your hands, but I certainly hope they try.

The touch screen is no substitute for a couple analog sticks.

Analog sticks are no substitute for keyboard/mouse!! I'm gonna enjoy this game on my PC. I'll probably give the DS version a whirl too  :D

"Touch screen is no substitute for dual analog"

IMHO not the case.  For some reason I'm able to handle Hunters very well, and aiming is so much more efficient with a touch screen.  You can turn instantly to any direction... with dual analog there's a cap on how fast you can turn, which is deathly horrible for anyone that's a PC FPS player.  If all you know is dual analog and your hands aren't the right shape/size to hold the DS, I can see where you're coming from though.

Maybe you need a thumb stylus thing?  I bought one at my local EBGames, came with a set of styluses too, it's GREAT for metroid.

That looks so cool.  Wonder if its for the PSP.  Or was is answered :P

I'm sure the PC version will be superior to all and I would be ignoring this DS version entirely if it weren't for Brothers in Arms DS. Yes, the controls take some getting used to but it's actually pretty fun once you do. This may be the same.
