Just fell over this news on the supercard site... im confused? Is the CycloDS a ripoff of the Supercard? or are we talking about a Ripoff of the CycloDS with a ripoff of the Supercard?=! ok now i am confused... go check it out!

Unbelievable!!! The FAKE SuperCard change another name CYCLODS. Please check the detail list below.

    All CYCLODS Fake SuperCard have common features:
The Fake will corrupt your SAVE DATA.
The Fake is very hard to insert and plug out.
CYCLODS microSD/MiniSD/SD version can only use our SuperCard SD version firmware and software, it can not use SuperCard Lite version firmware and software.
Play a lot of DS games will white screen. Especially the 0094 -- Akumajou Dracula - Aoitsuki no Juujika (v01) (JP).
CYCLODS microSD version can NOT totally insert into SLOT 2 of NDSL.

they apparently have rebadged the fake supercards that were already doing the rounds now as CYCLODS still a ripped of supercard but now trying to go it alone as their own product from what im reading

The original CycloDS flash carts for the slot 2, as well as their nopass card were Supercard clones.  In fact, their firmware were interchangeable.  These carts include the CycloDS MiniSD (Supercard MiniSD), the CycloDS MicroSD (Supercard Lite) and the CycloDS Key (SuperKey).  However, the CycloDS Evolution seems to be entirely their own product, maybe a slightly modified DSLink, but still their own product.

I would think it is more than just slightly modified if it is indeed based on the DSLink. DSLink is one of the first slot 1 cards with the associated hassles but Evo is one of the most powerful, albeit a bit expensive card around..

when reading the news on the SuperCard site, i thought for one second that my SuperCard Lite whas a fake CycloDS...... 

My SuperCard Lite actually sticks out and is hard to plug in and unplug.... hmm

My sclite Sticks out a litte and is hard to plug in and out (sanded along time ago and is better-ish now), but it was first gen sclite prior to the notch in the back, as i assume yours is as well.

The cyclo-evo does not have a real time AR/Dipstar cheat and book/guide engine with no slow down, in this derpartment the much older scds-one is quite superiorand unique with these kickass features.

also the slow-mo feature on the evo is quite flakey, where it varies in it's performance/accuracy from game to game... another department the scds-one is clearly superior.

that said, evo obviously has 'download n play' and 'sdhc' advantages... could the scds-one possibly be pushed to include these features ?  I have heard something is in the pipeline

For real. Jealously is the only reason I can think of them for posting this now. And I think it's very petty on the Supercard Team's part. They could've posted this quite a while ago when the Cyclo minisd and Cyclo microsd came out.

I can't help but think that maybe the reason SC are doing this, is that they are obviously ripping SC off, not only the hardware, but the software is all but a 100% rip.
