Looking good.  Previous shooters from Shin'en have been top-down, but Nanostray 2 is incorporating side-scrolling elements as well.

Nanostray was one of my favorite games on my DS and my first.  God I love that game, but it was too short.

Only thing that sucked about Nanostray is that you had to use the touch screen to change weapons. Thankfully they've fixed this now though

That is my biggest pet peeve with the game (aside from the overall difficulty that is), so if they've fixed that I'll be checking out the sequal for sure.

I know itt. Not only is it of my favorite DS games(and a very under rated one), but it's one of my overall favorite shoot em' ups. It was way too short, but it wasn't the easiest shooter either. It still gets a ton of play from me.

And its been known for quite a while that there will be some side scrolling moments. Gamespot have had screens up for a few months showing this. Also, I guess the game will be longer than the first, and no annoying touch screen controls.

I just wish they would set a release date, instead of TBD.
