As you guys may have known, I have opened a new forum at DS Database not too long ago, maybe 3 days tops.  Anyways, in order to encourage the growth of DS Database, we are hosting a free raffle.

The prize of the raffle is yet to be decided.  I have opened a poll asking what users want as their prize.  The prize is either DS related (which will be a flash cart of some sort or possibly a legit game), or a high powered laser (50mW, pops balloons).  So if you are interested, please vote for the prize you want.  http://dsdatabase.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36

Ya know in the past we here at SCdev have worked with many other websites to cross promote competitions and other events that help promote and inspire growth in the homebrew scene, but every time we have worked with other sites either we go to their admins or they come to our admins and ask permission to "pimp" their/our site,competition,raffle,ect.

Now im not saying im pissed, it just seems a little rude that you have (twice now) pimped your site here with out even asking a mod or admin once if it were ok. If you were running  a homebrew comp or something else that would benefit the scene I would be less offended, but your just simply promoting your web site off our backs without even as much as a please or thank you.

Im not about to edit or delete your post, but in the future the right thing to do is atleast ask permission to spam our boards with "raffles" that do nothing at all for the scene, but rather just help promote your site. Ask Darkuni, we have promoted his site MANY times because he has been a true gentleman about it and just didn't come here dropping his sites name and links at will.

I won't even go into how shady the title of your topic is. When I read it I thought for a second we here at SCdev were doing a free raffle......
