Sounds like they were expecting the type of reaction that Nintendo got at E3 in 2004 for Zelda.  (only need to watch the first 1 minute and 20 seconds or so)

What is the difference between this e3 and pasts?  Isn't it that only major gaming places are let in?  I think that might have contributed...but man...

Pretty much anyone can get in if they show they work for a gaming co like an internet game site, game store,ect. A TON of people get in every year but they claim it's not open to the public,lol. And that did not contribute as there were MANY claps and cheers during the Nintendo press conference and some even during the Playstation conference.

Have to say that at this years E3 Microsoft seemed the weakest and Nintendo still looked the strongest. Sony did not do a bad job even if 12 out of the 13 games they announced for the PSP were sequels,lol.
