Ok, I just got my SC Lite and tried upgrading the firmware from 1.63 to 1.81
First, I placed the firmware 1.70 .bin file and updated. No probs there. Then, I placed the firmware 1.80 UPGRADE.SCU file into the root of my cart and booted in NDS mode. I hit START after being greeted by the usual firmware updating screen, but the following error message pops up: Data verify error! Please turn off GBA"

I placed the same UPGRADE.SCU file into another micro SD, and the same occurs. Booting from GBA mode doesn't help either. What should I do? Thanks for the help, guys.

Nevermind, problem fixed by reformatting card.
