I hope those are unfinished screens, because it just looks weird to be in combat and not have a little more in the effects department. It looks like some of the monster and character animations are just bumping into each other instead of actually punishing and hitting each other.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Tales fan, and I do understand this is the DS, but the video left me wanting just a tiny bit more.

Hmm I see what you mean.  When they go up into the air they don't even move they just kinda stay in the same position the entire time.

yeah a new one it better be a better battling system then tales of tempest because i didn't like the whole like line thing it feels like u are trapped
