Limit on how big a supercard book is?

I copied and pasted the entire translation of Tales of the Tempest from Gamebrink, but when I try to make a .scb out of it I first get an error. Then, my .scb is only 64 bytes...The txt file I want to make into an scb is 207 kb

why make life hard for yourself when moonshell can read txt files or you could use COMICBOOK READER

just convert your text to jpgs and use the COMICBOOK READER

i dont think theres a limit
i made a pokemon FAQ/Walkthrough & the source txt file was over 600kbs & the .scb was 580kb

sorry my mistake didnt realise you ment a cheat book it just says supercard book in the thread header

I meant an .scb that you can look at in game, not the cheat menu thing. I want to read teh english translation in game cus I don't know japanese.

It might work because on the chinese site they have a 1.02 version and it is one kb bigger than the one i tried ot use

I had similar issues. When I ran the FAQ in game, all I saw was the letter Q with some garbled stuff next to it.

I found out the problem. I needed to save it encoded as Unicode. However, now I get brujagio's problem

yeah i think its special characters *, % ,$ that sort of thing
i removed *, % and it worked and if you notice that its added text were the !, ? and ... were like +icy- and +ace
but at least its working now you could maybe tweak it better by removing them as well??
