i have firmware 1.60 right now. when i try to upgrade to 1.63 all i get is a game boy advance screen with a messed up nintendo logo. can anyone help?

Was it working fine BEFORE you upgraded?

i havent upgraded it yet. and yes it works fine but i cant play some games. i get the screen when i try to upgrade.

The games you couldn't play, were they DS or gba games? And when you saw the messed up Nintendo screen while trying to upgrade, was it after a dialogue asking you if you wished to upgrade?

Make sure you're not patching the upgrade file.  Just put it on your card and launch it like a normal file.
