Can you post me a pic of where F1 and F2 fuses are located?

The fuses both look exactly the same and you will see F1 and F2 printed on the PCB next to them . . .

you might want to check the ribbon for the bottom screen too.

there shouldn't be a large gap between the side of the cable and the connector, the gap should as small as possible (less than 0.5mm)

it is not the bottom screen ribbon as that is the one that flashes on startup

if its anything like the phat there are two ribbons in the top... have you checked both?

Ok I redid the bottom ribbon AGAIN for the 3rd time and I actually got the DS to turn on but the top screen was a green mono chrome color instead of color. So I did it AGAIN, rechecked the ribbon cable and took it out and put it back and it WORKED. Im all set now, everything is working 100%. Thanks for all the pointers fellas!

All in all it took about 5 hours total to install this damn thing. I could probably knock it out in about 1 hour if I had to do it over. Not easy, but not impossible. The build quality is actually nice though I wish the finish was glossy and not dull.

yes that happened to me, but instead  of green the screen was nearly black and white.  I was about to keep it that way to have an original DS lol

Ya the ribbion cable was a pain in the ass to get out of the hinge and back in.

Holy crap, no kidding, I must've been 30 minutes doing that part ALONE!  A pair of pliers might've helped v.v
