i even placed the little sticker back over the SL1 hole.  Never been played except to install flashme and test booting into DS mode. Gamestop-purchased yesterday.

Do you mind if I ask why you purchased the DS just to flash it? Where you testing it on a newer DS model? Or were you planning on using it as a second DS and changed your mind?

because I wanted a different-colored import DS, and thought it wouldnt' work with passme (and therefore, flashme), so i bought this yesterday, and that VERY same afternoon got a message from olimar confirming that i can flash my passme's cpld with his "ique' code, and that would work on an import.

So i boxed the silver DS back up and decided i'd try to sell it (losing a few bucks, but i really want a different color!) i bought it less than 24 hours ago...

I could un-flash it, but i figured I might as well leave it flashed since some people don't have access to a passthrough device, and this way they could own a flashed DS.

And this way if they play Mario Kart DS their DS will be bricked unless they can run the recovery program from a flash cart.
