Supercard Can recover Bricked DS (Flashme Protection)

i was testing the fail protection from FLASH ME ( A+B+START+SELECT)

and i found out how to use it with Supercard!!!!!

Just copy only the flashme.nds file to CF ( not tested with SD )

use the boot A+B+START+SELECT

You will get a black Screen, then release the buttons and press A Button...

the screen will flash and Start the code on the CF !!!

tried with some homebrews.. and worked well ...

Can any one try with Supercard SD and M3

any hb. app.? or must have name flashme.nds?
Tryed with SC SD, and moonshell in root of SD... but it does nothing. (its name is original name of downloaded moonshell something like _BOOT_MP_EXFS_sd.nds )

moonshell worked for me but frezes after boot.. it workerd if castlevania too.. but without sound..

After boot using A+b+select+start .. om black screen pess A ... works for me!

Finally found why it didn't work before. xD I had some directories in my SD.
Now it works, and I'll explain how:
Supercard kernel works, and in fact when in fail mode, we can't see anything, but in fact we are navigating around SD Supercart directories, so can execute anything if you know where is it! (down, down, A, down -> it enters in the 3rd directory, and executes the first file it founds)
That was the cause it didn't work before to me, my SD didn't have the flashme.nds alone. Now it works this way!
(btw, I am Gunnme in gbadev).

Yes its been confirmed by multiple people now. Its just due to the way flashme works - there is nothing sinister about it and its pretty much certain there will be a new version of flashme to support MK and other wifi games...

Loopy has already confirmed there will be a new version of flashme as soon as he gets a dump of the modified firmware after playing Mario Kart.

It may be it won't be made till soon after the game is released since the press version isn't widely available and doesn't appear to have been dumped by anyone yet.

I have a silver us DS with Flashme 3 and SC CF
Now i played MKDS Multiplayer wifi and now just black screens !!
And when i start it with A+b+start+select and press a nothing happens.
Please help!! I have Flashme.nds v5 on my Sc card!!

On the weekend I had a major issue when I tried to Flash to V5 and I needed to use the recovery process.

Try this....

1. Boot the DS with A+B+Select+Start
2. Wait ~2 seconds
3. Release all buttons
4. Press A

Tell me how you go.

Y have the same probleme 2 black screen

Supercard CF old flashme.

I played mariokart ds with wifi download (multiplayer single card) the bricked DS doesn't have mariokart card.

And the rescue methode don't work ...
I placed flashme.nds (http://ds.gcdev.com/dsfirmware/flashme.nds) on a formated FAT compact flash 256mo .
Please help us ... :cry:

Problem solved with a 512mo compact flash, formated FAT juste before putting de flashme.nds on it.

I'm very happy

My 256mo Kingston that I use with my supercard don't work with this manipulation strange isn'it ?

Will Mario wiffi brick the DS even if you do not use any flashme firmware? I'm just using supercard with passme no flashing.
