There we have it. Gamecube will be one of the most sucessful consoles in history, and is destined to be even bigger than PS2 

I've never really liked comments about the Wii being called Gamecube 1.5 or whatever, but I like this one.  Well played.

There's a lot of complaining going on about these figures at Kotaku (sp?)

They're just projections, after all, even if that probably is the best thing we have to go on.  NPD does the same thing.

at the end of the day, good sales figures will always benefit the manufacturer more than the consumer - hence my "m'eh" attitude.

of course, it'll also give fanboys extra bragging rights
